MUSIC

As a multilingual singer-songwriter, Taliya Hafiz writes and performs songs in various languages including English, French, Tatar, Russian, Japanese. "French is the language of my heart, English is the language of my mind, and Tatar is the language of my DNA".  She creates in French pop, new age, neo-soul, neo-classical styles. 

Her debut album  "Sensations" (2021) won Best Album from Music Durham (UK) and Best Love Songs from BHW Radio (USA). Taliya Hafiz was streamed on RTI Hits (France), iHeart radio (USA), BBC Music Introducing (UK). 

Her discography  includes the bilingual ballad "Chèvrefeuille" (produced with Will Harrison), "Donne-moi", "Just Not You", "Prière Pour la Paix", "Prelude to Dew" (arranged by Marcos Barilari) and recent album "Reprise", among others.

Taliya Hafiz wrote the lyrics and vocal topline for the track "Energy in Motion" by Billboard-charting US producer Art Tawanghar, which amassed over 2M streams. She also collaborated with Eurovision artist H.O'Neill on the album "The One" and has been a lead singer-songwriter for "Exxport" band.

DANCE & ACTING 

Appears as a waltz dancer in the French movie "Fantomas" (2027), starring alongside prominent French actor and director Guillaume Canet.

Cast as a Latin American dancer in the international project "FLEUR" (2028), appearing alongside Oscar-nominated Hollywood actress Halle Berry.

Plays a role of a ballet dancer in short movie "Lolita" (2026), presented at New York Independent Women Film Festival, Nikon Film Festival, Sofia Coppola Film Award and Montpellier Film Festival.

JOURNALISM 

With over a decade of media experience, Taliya's journalism career includes past roles as a columnist for the Star newspaper and Editor-in-Chief of the Cyprus Observer. As an international correspondent, she has covered events like the JazzAscona festival in Switzerland and worked alongside reporters from the New York Times. She currently writes regular articles, reviews, and interviews for specialized publications such as All About Jazz, All About Dance, and Anthology of Art.
